Same here. I didn't think I'd get that info until next week.

Nope, I'll take what I need off of it to fit on the GT. Besides, I don't feel like paying more than A-plan for a vehicle.

Got my full VIN from the dealer, but tried to look it up without any luck. I wonder if it's not printed out on a window sticker yet.

I looked for my window sticker every day for about a month and it always came up as "vin not in system". As soon as I hit enter today I could tell it was loading differently. And it finally came up.

Does anyone know what the blend is?

It's finally here! After 18 weeks, two days (4 1/2 months) and a good number of head aches, my car is finally here. I pick up the car tomorrow. Hopefully everything will go smooth. So, mark me as delivered! I have been waiting a long time to finally say that and it feels soooooo good.

Best of luck to those that are still waiting and a special thanks to those that have contributed to this thread.
I have learned a lot from this forum so keep the info coming.

Today will be 5 weeks and still no VIN I think it's safe to say I am looking at oct/nov for the car to land, this is going to suck driving it home from the dealers straight into the garage and putting it away for the winter.

Finally got my VIN after almost 7 weeks. No build date, the dealer says, but it does say "scheduled," whatever that means.

Like Big Papi above, I'm worried I'll get it in Oct. and park it for the winter.

I hear you on the A-Plan, wish I were so lucky. Maybe I need to move over there an get a job in their engineering and/or testing dept's.

The window sticker typically appears one week before the car is scheduled to be built. You should be able to get an accurate "build week" date from your dealer first.

The blend is the actual build sequence number. Cars at AAI aren't built in VIN sequence (not mention having the Mazda's mixed in), so the blend number is used at that factory. The 9 digit number preceding the blend number is the day your car begins production, and is of the form '1YYYYMMDD'. The car will be completed the next business day.

Boo...mine will see snow, sleet, and ice. Just gotta be prepared. Thinking a set of 2010 18" SVT wheels with some Blizzaks will suit me just fine.

I guess I don't really get the whole blend thing. If the blend has to do with the production order does it help determine the production date.

Well like a bad Soap Opera or Reality show, 20 minutes after I posted my salesman emailed me to tell me I got my VIN! 5 weeks to the day I placed my order, now for my build date and window sticker.
It feels good to be on the inside and not on the outside looking in.

I live in the south, where snow is a loved treasure by those who have lived here forever. Guys from up north go into spasms whenever snow is mentioned. So yes, I'll be driving mine year round, as I did my old V6. I can't justify a second car when at best there will only be snow and ice on the road two or three times a year. I wouldn't have a place to put it and why would you ever want to drive another car anyway?

Pullease ... I don't consider the sprinkling you guys get on a bad day something that causes spasms. That's "every day" here.

What we are talking about when we consider "snow" is of the 2'-3' deep variety that my truck eats up without slowing down at 55 mph on the highway at 3am before the plows come out. Not to mention the accompanying road salt that later comes with it.
