Joker, Joker who. I mean let's face it, WHO is that guy anyway. We know NOTHING about him. His car! What car, we haven't seen a freakin' pic so far, ok, ok, his avvie shows one, but how do we know it really is his ! We don't even know his first name for God sake. How do we know he really exists. Might be a Ford CS spy for all we know. Just sayin' !!!!!

Yes, Joker would have most likely firebombed AAI by now. The way I figure it, the longer it takes for me to get my car, the better position I'm in to bargain the value of my trade. It's my dealer's chance to make things right before I take my survey. I don't intend to burn them in any way but they don't know that and how they handle the situation will definitely affect my tainted view of the Ford (dis)organization as a whole. This is why I've gotten more and more optimistic as the months have gone by.

I ordered mine on June 11th, and the dealer called on July 8th with a VIN. Two weeks later and that was still all I had, so I finally gave in and called FoMoCo customer service this morning. They say it's still in order processing. They don't have a build date but gave me an ETA of August 17th. 
If you figure in the factory being off for two weeks, that fits within the "six to eight weeks" the dealer estimated when I put in the order. At least there will still be time for a summer road trip or two if that's really the date....

Much appreciated. My salesman called me again this afternoon to tell me that they've actually located my car at the rail yard and he has been told that it will be delivered by carrier either overnight tonight or early tomorrow morning. Tomorrow should be my day. Should be. Hopefully.
Now all I need to do is find a camera.
All I have is a HD handycam but I think it takes 4mp stills. The (ex)wife took my SLR.

Well, after four months and four days I finally got my call a few minutes ago.
My new baby is currently being inspected at the dealership. I'll try and get some pics of her tonight who am I kidding, I'm going out cruising but I'll try). I think I might name her Lauren.
