Build, Delivered VIN Sequence
If its what I think it is, its not really a bra, its more like a plastic sheet that gets glued on like a racing stripe.
One of them was on my '02 when I bought it. Actually works pretty good if there are specific areas that get hit with road debris a lot (like the very front of the hood on the '02).
You could barely even see it unless you were right up close.

Well, it's more than just a plastic sheet but not quite a typical nose bra. It's 3-6 mil plastic with adhesive on one side that is cut and shaped to fit the front of the car and any other areas subject to impact damage (side mirrors, wheel flares, etc.). The adhesive is strong enough to keep the plastic from peeling even when taken through a car wash (not that we would ever do that) and yet it can be removed without damaging the paint.

Yeah... I didn't mean that vinyl nose bras are better, I was just comparing the size and design to give a frame of reference. The clear bra is far superior to a traditional nose bra for protection of the paint.
No problem. Heck, I didn't even know about them until last week. I asked my my brother if he knew anyone around Dallas that had good prices on the vinyl ones and then he told me about the new stuff. It's similar to what people put on iPhones and Androids to protect the glass. Sync works great with my Evo phone, by the way...
I'm rolling them over to the 2005' convertible as Im about to ramp it up to proform more with the wife crusing in the 5.0 to work each day!

My sticker came up 8 days before the build day.
Ford just changed my ETA again, 8/26 to 9/4. Weird thing is that I have been tracking the train since it left Flat Rock, and it's ETA to arrive in New Orleans has not changed. Hope Ford is full of crap on this one
My window sticker finally showed up on tuesday confirming 8/23 as my build date. My salesman says it should be here the "week of" 9/7....which is cutting it real close to 9/10 - the date my $750 coupon expires!

That makes it: Ordered 7/20 Build date 8/25 Estimated delivery date 9/6 Vin:144790
