Oh snap, Ford CS said it's in transit.. though they said the ETA is blank so I think it's sitting at the ramp

 

My mustang is suppose to be here next week and I'm so anxious to get it next week. I'm hoping to have a couple of days before I go on vacation. I'm starting to prepare myself that I won't get it until after my vacation. Is it possible to add the electronics package as a dealer install? I'm nervous how my car will look with the coupe package. After reading the threads, I didn't realize I got the boy racer package. Oh well, I thought it looked good when I built the car.

 

138322 is now DELIVERED! Delivered this morning, 8/5. I'm picking it up on Monday when I get back from vacation, can't wait!

 

Actually, the ETA says Aug 7 via Jack Cooper Transport

 

Weird because on Monday they told me the ETA was August 8th. Is Jack Cooper Transport transporting it? Apparently you have more information than my own dealership right now.

 

The dealership just told me it's sitting at the plant probably

 

Add me to the four month list. I am still waiting. Odrered on 4/14 and built on 5/5. Been calling dealer and Ford CS once at week since 7/5 and same story. It's back at the plant for "reprogramming" and no ETA.

Arranged for own financing and now that period has expired. Told dealer about that and they want to me to proceed with the car purchase. So I get to drive an invisable car and make monthly installments while they get the use of my money. Now that is a sweet deal!

How are you guys/gals coping with the long wait? Any ideas or thoughts?

going to be black! I'm selling my 2003 GT that I have freaking loved for the past 6 years tonight. My dad and I did all the work to it together so it's really going to hurt to see someone drive away in it and never come back.

So I hope my 11 shows up soon so this empty feeling inside goes away

Hey rhans, sorry if I missed it but did you get your car yet?

 

So it begins, the ever changing ETA date. Talked to my salesperson today and my ETA got moved from 8/11/10 to 8/20/10. I will be hard pressed ordering a car in the future. 3 months and counting. I'm glad I didn't get my car for any of my car travel vacations. I would have hated to show it off to friends and family. Since I won't be in town for 8/20, maybe I will go ahead and see if the dealership can send it off to get the windows tinted.

 

Yeah I've already past my 2nd ETA as well and haven't received a new one

 

When did you order your car? I ordered mine on 6/11 and I'm taking delivery of it today, it arrived at the dealer on 8/5 after missing 2 ETA's of 7/16 and 8/2.

I sold my 2001 GT (which I had for 9 years because I loved that car so much) the night before I picked up the new one. It bothered me to see a guy drive away (and almost crash) my car, that meant so much to me for so long.

Funny thing is I simply have forgotten the 2001 already because the new one is so frickin' awesome.

Hmmm, I wonder if there is some marriage metaphor in there........
