Bubbles in Window Tint

Okay tell me if I'm being a butt. I got my windows tinted 1 weeks ago. I have had numerous vehicles tinted before, and this it the first time I've had a problem. I have about 4-5 bubbles the size of a dime on one window. I emailed the tinter Monday and he told me that it was just water and to give it a few days. Today, I drove to his shop to have him look at it and he told me the same thing. Just water and wait the weekend. I've never had bubbles like this before, and I really think they are not going to go away. What say you???

Do you park it out in the sun? This usually takes care of the bubble issue after a week.

I park it in the sun as much as I can. It's supposed to be in the 60's this weekend so hopefully that will help.

I had mine done two weeks ago, used Suntec film, and no bubbles, no scratches and I do not park in the sun.
Maybe it is the brand of tint?

No bubbles in my tint what so ever. You got a bad job, non-professional for sure.

Depending on where you live....it might take longer.

I am in Texas and had mine done at the of August....where it still hits 90 degrees.

Yea takes about 2 weeks in really cool weather or 2 days in 80s weather out in the sun is what my tint guy told me. Couldnt put my windows down for a day but i waited like 3 because I was nervous hah. Had a couple bubbles in the back but theyre all gone. He went up all the way to the line so they look smoked and not tinted
That guy tinted the bellagio lol
Im babbling now.

Thats normal to happen when you get your windows tinted. The Bubbles do sound pretty big then normal but I would still listen to the guy who did it for you and give it time. I am sure he will fix it if it dosnt come out by itself.

Make them do it again. That's a crap job and you deserve better if you actually paid them some money. The customer is always right.

Well all but one bubble went away, however after a good look over by the wife, every window except one looks like there is crap under the tint, like specs of dust or lint got under it. She's pissed and wants the tint off completely and I can't blame her. We shall see what the tinter says.
