Love your car. I am in Florida this week for work and saw a couple DIB 5.0s... They look so good clean, esp driving with fogs (only) on. Looks badass. You guys are making me miss my car

I wounder if Borla would exchange the mufflers if someone called them and explained that they purchased the 2011-2012 aka "2011-2013 before the new model came out" , and now they sell a new model "specifically" made for 2013+. Please post pictures when you have it on your car.
I also have to agree. I have a 12 so my borlas and its tips are just perfect, but seeing the 12 borlas on the 13s looks great to me, IMO.

I don't hate it but I don't love it either. I'd much rather flush.

2013 Boss with the new Borla S-Types, and I waited about 5 weeks while on back order in December.

Looks so much better to me! Now if they'd angle the tips like Corsa does, it would be perfect. Still, looks better than the sticking out tips to me.

Looks good. Probably would have went that route if they had it available way back in the summer of 2012 but at this point i dont think the difference is worth the pain and expense of selling my '11-12 S Types for the 13-14's.

Anyone with the 11-12 axel backs call and complain to Borla yet about the situation? If not let me be the first to see what they can do. Not gonna lie, im liking the flush look now.

I spoke with them when I purchased my cat-back set. They told me to get the 11-12 kit, which at the time was the 11-13 kit. I had my X Pipe replaced do to a crack on a weld, they sent me a new kit. But it was the 11-12 kit, I could have waited for a 13-14 kit but it was many weeks at the time.

I like the look of the aggressiveness with the tips out farther.

The GHIG pictures above look odd to me, like the tips are to far in. In fact I think even for a 13-14 kit that install has the tips farther in then expected.

Plus I asked my wife which way she likes it, and she likes our car with the tips out, so, happy wife, happy life. lol.

Borla is great for any issues you have with their product. Outstanding customer service. That said, I'm not sure they will swap them out, they may discount heavily a new set.

Looking at all of these pics...I actually don't mind the extra length of the 11-12 tips;it just makes the downward angle a bit more exaggerated looking than I prefer. The shorter tips minimize this effect for me. FWIW, I have GT500s on mine now and the canisters also slant towards the rear, but the tips are somewhat tucked in.

I really love the sound of these GT500s, so I'm hoping the risk I'm taking is worth it. I'm looking for a a little more volume and aggression (plus, I love the rolled tips' look from the rear). Not expecting any performance gains.

Also, no weep holes on the 2013's either. When I called they said they didn't need them.....

I looked at GT500's for my 14 GT/CS but went with the Borla 13-14 Sport. They tuck in nice as you see on JJJTMC's above. I think they'll look good on your car. Maybe paint the rear of the mufflers black? I didn't on mine.

If you wanted a little more sound, you're gonna get it! If I hold a gear, the family can hear me coming from a couple blocks away! I'd like to hear what you think of the change.

Also, if you're thinking about putting in the drain holes, do it before you install the pipes. I did that on mine.

I painted the back end caps of the mufflers with VHT flat black, all you see are tips.

I contacted Borla about a possible trade from my 11-12 S-Type mufflers to the 13-14 ones and they are going to swap em out for me free of charge.

Borla is a model of what excellent customer service should be these days. Absolutely no hassle whatsoever.
