Jets in the 1970's were being built fly-by-wire, seems like no one is complaining here!
Either way, FBW is the way of the times, I too like a good wire connection to the throttle but it just isn't happening anymore. Kind of sucks but it may be for the best.
On the gears, I still liked the 3.31 1-5th. Seems like it makes more sense for the fuel mileage anyway.

The original F-16 stick had zero movement and zero feedback. I would have hated it too. I still don't really like it. It moves what feels like a whopping 16th of an inch. It's more than that but it doesn't feel it. Still very unintuitive but it works now. Or it was an adaption. Much like anything else, over time it should get better. Even Black Hawks will soon be going fly by wire.

Well played. Though without doing any research, it looks French. I am wrong though, somewhat Russian. Good think the Canadians saved it and did better. Too bad it never made service.

After it was canceled, a lot of the top engineers went to NASA to create and launch the space program.
