Anyone using send to Sync?

Anyone using the send to sync feature in google maps?

Every time I try to send a destination to my sync, it says invalid account. I've checked my sync account and my phone number is valid.

Just did some reading and it says your Sync must be subscribed to " Traffic, Directions and Information". So then I read that " Traffic, Directions and Information" is not available on cars with Navigation Systems.

Perhaps it's not available because it would conflict with what the nav system already offers.

Too bad. This is a pretty sweet feature.

If you have Nav why would you need to send a google map to it?

Not necessarily a Google Map, but it would make typing in a destination a hell of a lot easier.

Say you are at your computer while looking up the address to the local gentleman's club. Instead of writing it down and typing it into your nav, you can click "Send" in google maps and "Send to Car".

When you get in your car you hit the voice button and say "Services". It then asks if you want to use the destination downloaded. Bam. On your way.

This would be even better if it worked with my android phone also. Look up address on phone, send to car, bam.

On a side note, if anyone has an Android phone with 2.2, check out "Chrome to phone" or "Fox to phone". Awesome app. While on computer you see a link you want on your phone, right clikc on it, send to phone, boom....instantly pops up on your phone. See phone number while searching on computer, highlight, right click, send text to phone...bam it opens in the dialer.
