Any way to "cheat" inspection?

Well I have been on this long debate on whether I should remove my headers or not, and Jim Jr. a JDM suggests it would be better to just put the stock system back on, as they have had problems even with metallic cats not passing. I am from new york and here they do a check through the OBDII port instead of a tail pipe sniffer. I am not sure 100% how this works, but I believe it checks to make sure all the 02 sensors are working properly and making sure your car isnt throwing any codes.... any suggestions on how to pass or even if I find someone to "help me out" will he actually be able to pass me?

It's possible that you can pass with mil eliminators. Just gonna have to run them for a while and see if all of the obdII monitors are satisfied. If they actually look under the car and see no cats, you are screwed. Only advise I have on it. The test checks for codes and obdII system monitors. All monitors have to have run and passed. Those can be checked with a scan tool.

Also thinking maybe I can install the metallic cats and try something like this? Like install the cats but also use these so it pulls the rear 02's a little further away from the airflow so I dont throw any codes.

If all the "inspection" is is a OBDII port plug in then all you need to pass is for it to not be throwing any codes for any emissions related hardware.

And if the rear O2's are missing all that needs to be done is to turn them off in the tune and then it won't throw any codes.

I am going to go down to my inspection center and see. Apparently you wont pass for readiness if they 02 sensors are turned off. I drive down now and see if I would pass as of right now before I do anything. If they say I wont pass idk what to do after that. Some people say you will still throw codes with high flow cats, and thats exactly what I DO NOT want

It won't pass. If you have access to a scan tool, you can check the monitor readiness yourself. If the rear 02's are turned off, you won't pass. If you pass a few $$$, you might pass. Emissions related or not. Any cel on will fail.
