Another #8 Failure on 2011 5.0

Juskin is a friend of mine, I am "Trevor" on that post. He drives the ***** off the car, just like I do.
I melted a piston stock, Justin cracked a ring I will bet that and when I look down I will confirm.
The tuner is one the the "Kool Aid" tuners, let that sink in guys as a hint![Wink](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

^ and it also runs between 220-240° there is nowhere for the coolant to go once it hits the back of the block and head.. it runs the hottest compared to the rest of the block and cylinders.

Girly?
I just ordered an auto. I can'twait for some d-bag to claim it's girly.
Anyway that's what I'd like to do. I don't mind the higheroctane because I drive very few miles to work but I do want better shiftpoints. I'm reluctant to anything to the car because of the warranty though.

Yes .. the sticker on your PCM you would have given your tuner ... I believe the #8 failures had to do with the ZFK0 calibration .. I think the latest and greatest is revision ZFK2.

what i'm trying to ask is if it's local or??
I might be making some future changes in a few k when my 3/36k ends, and I'd hate to go to the one "local" tuner I know of that seems to service MD/VA/DC/DE/PA folks

He is local yes, but have NO fear about the tuner. This failure was hardware related and not tuner related. I have an inside line and know the guys and so much so he is going to do my E85 tune and tune my buddies 1000+ auto/turbo cobra. I have not lost faith in said tuners ability.

$.45 x 14 gallons = $6.30 per fill up.
I have money so no worries there. I was sick of putting the "required premium" in my Trans Am for 20 years just to go back and forth to work. Even $6.30 per week doesn't sound too bad but I hate to pay it. What I do not understand is why 93 is now 45 cents more per gallon than regular. It was 20 cents up until a few years ago. I guess that octane is part gold?
