How did you get a priority of 01? I got 10 and I've read that was highest.

Once the order is pulled I believe it automatically gives it a 1 IIRC

i have this feeling the motor is not performing. i have this sinking feeling we are being duped by Ford ala 1999 cobra's. i have the feeling they arent releasing them because they will hit the dynos and be very low on power. and those of us that ordered them will simply cancel.

im going to sue the **** out of ford if they play a game like that. can you say class action lawsuit.

Not everybody is ordering the Brembo package. I know I'm not!

Anybody know what released from plant means? Does this mean its just released for shipping(ok to ship) - or does it actually mean its on a truck? The Ford 800 rep wasn't very helpful this morning - think they are getting swamped with calls. I actaully had to wait on hold this time, usually goes straight to a rep.

Yep, I'd rather get aftermarket brakes and get the rims I want.

They are SAE certified; Ford will have much bigger problems on its hands than a class-action lawsuit if the engines aren't making SAE certified power. The SAE certification was developed, in part, because of the Cobra fiasco.

IT you're a non brembo order right? I have a GT/CS Vert order that was in production when I called yesterday. No brembo's hopefully means no hold.

Was the volcano holding up parts shipments the reason for the brembo delay?

This hold is different than the Brembo one. The volcano situation has been resolved already.

Jesus Christ, call Mulder and Scully. Everything on here is conspiracies. The v8s are blowing up, or not making power. They're holding cars because of the 10s not moving, or suspension parts, or the planets aren't in the correct alignment to ship the cars. Jesus. Shut up, already. Some of you are worse than old ladies.

If you don't know WTF you are talking about then don't post anything. I have waited 4 weeks for my car, and while it is killing me, I will be OK. You will, too. Ford is on the upswing and they want to make sure this 11 is a success.

And the corollary to that ^^^ is "If you can't say something nice. . ."

I'm really getting sick of people throwing ridiculous ideas out with no logic or rationale behind them, and then a group of other members jumping all over it like it's gospel.

If you don't want to panic, stop reading threads like these, go about your lives, and wait for the phone call from your local dealer that your car will show up soon. Throwing hairbrain ideas out is only confusing and pissing off members.

Bottom line, there was something found, they are correcting it, and checking to make sure the scope isn't bigger than they thought. Like I said before, would you rather wait now while you're not paying on the car, or take it to the shop down the road because of a TSB/recall, and have to let it sit in the shop while it's being repaired and you're paying for it? Seems like the answer is logical....

My thoughts in the PG-13 version. This board has been great for me, but it seems like our excitement is now clouded with all these lame rumors. It's tiring, that's all.

Agreed but what does that have to do with the people of Iceland?

Your original post should have said "the manufacturing delays related to the volcanic ash have been resolved." Instead you made it "sound" like everything relating to the volcano was over.

There are way too many serious people here. Lighten up, folks.

And for the record, My 2004 F150 is going into the shop for a TSB tomorrow. . . OOPS! Guess they missed the screwed up brake design before they shipped it out.

Ford cars will never be "perfect" and delaying them too long can be just as big a problem as fixing them later. We're not even close to that point yet though. Where's that missing year for the Cobra?

Breathe. Relax. Count to 5 (10 would require two hands and I know that's a bit complex for some folks.) If you need to count "Mississippi's" instead, do that. There won't be a spelling test on it.
