I'm sad that the Mustang hasn't made a return appearance in the show, I'd rather see that than that chebby.

I bet the 5.0 was done in the pilot episode before any sponsorship deals kicked in.
That's also probably why it was a V6 with a 5.0 badge too.
Pilots are often different from the actual series because they are shot often on their own and months before the series is. Then it is market tested and they tweak it for a series.

Hey, did anyone see wear the original Danno, James MacArthur, died last week?
He was 72, died of natural causes reportedly. Pretty young to die of natural causes.
