Tis a shame that they don't fit a more proper ECU for those high revs...

We can only hope that future models will overcome this "hurdle"

I was under the impression there wasn't much room.
On the stroke we are still working on what the final stroke will be. The gain will probably be in the 8-12 CI range.

Well, if they hadn't hired that summer intern code monkey that wrote the bloated code that blew the timing... just sayin'

On a more serious note, as long as they build the motor to spin that fast, ECU's may be 'easier' to retrofit.

I wouldn't be surprised. Look how far the 4.6 came from 1996 through 2010.

I hate 6S. I hate AirSpeed too, that's the gay version the Navy came up with for us. If I ever hear the word "Kaizen" again...
6 sigma is a statistical indicator that supposed to show the degree of improvement on a particular method or process. The 6s or 7s is the clean-up and organization of work areas. Just because a work area looks spotless doesn't necessarily mean it's functional.

My only worry is that it's probably too late to get the fix in time for the 2012MY.

The tension and allusions in here are so thick, you can cut it with a knife.

So, I give you, dramatic chipmunk to help with the mood:
