What do you guys think?
Pretty impressive peak flow numbers, did he happen to post any low or mid lift data? Thats where multi-valve heads really shine.

IIRC six sigma is just 5S with another S - Safety - added to the end. I am technically a green belt but I haven't touched that **** in a long time. Isn't it like sort, shine, spank, squeeze and swallow or something like that?

I hate 6S. I hate AirSpeed too, that's the gay version the Navy came up with for us. If I ever hear the word "Kaizen" again...

It's more of a real Hemi than the Dodge "Hemi" lol.

Not bad on the flow numbers.
Any numbers on the the port size and valve sizes and the lift specs when VCT is activated?

We're getting closer!

We finalized our piston design and we're working on a standard stroke and stroker crankshaft.

Piston specs:
  • Custom design crown configuration for new 5.0 style heads
  • Increased top and second fireland thickness .300+ Top .200 +2nd
  • Standard 1.5mm, 1.5mm, 3.0mm ring package heights with steel top ring
  • Integrated notches allow use of factory oil sprayer
  • Revised oil control/drainback slots work with factory oil spray system and oil control ring
  • Inner pin boss designed around Manley H-Beam style rod
  • Full pin oiling
  • Radiused valve pockets
  • High Compression version (11.5-1)
  • Low Compression version (10.0-1)
  • Livernois Exclusive 2.0 skirt profile (This encompasses many changes, revised shape of skirt, revised sizing and fit points on skirt) Improved design for better wear and durability while also allowing for increased stability.

Rick LeBlanc

Wow, is that a 2D bar code on the left OEM piston? Is it engraved into the piston?

Stroker crank? How much additional stroke can you fit in the 5.0 case?

I was under the impression there wasn't much room.

That new piston looks bad-***! Now that you guys have had some time to play with the tuning, I cant wait to see what stronger internals and upgraded valvetrain components can yield N/A. I can see a 8500+ RPM screamer coming...

a certain engineer (that comes over to your house all the time and eat's at your BBQ's) says the ECU cant handle that high of RPM, fuel delivery gets all weird as the processor cant keep up with senor data from the crank and cam and they get outta phase

Did this certain BBQ-eating engineer say what if anything Ford was hoping to do about it?
