3.31 gears are once again a stand alone option on V6 Mustangs...

As of 3.19.12 Ford has added 3.31 gears as a stand alone option once again for V6 buyers who don't want the V6 Performance Package. This info is in the latest 2013 Mustang Order Guide dated 3.19.12 from Ford.
