AOL listed Mustang Rebates... What do X-plan qualify for? Dealer not offering.

Sorry, just don't trust my dealer. AOL is listing a few rebates that the dealer did not mention. Why? Are they not valid?

The rebates go by your zip code and with XPlan you get anything that anybody else will get. Ask them to run a vincent report and watch them when they print it if you don't trust them. Good luck!

Here is the official site to check rebates. Don't go by random news websites, especially AOL...

http://www.ford.com/cars/mustang/incentives/
2012's haven't changed for me in my area. $1000 + $1500 on the 2012 GT Coupe. $1500 + $500 for the V6 Coupe.

Hey bud, let me know what type of Mustang you want. If you have the VIN number handy, I need the 1st 2 and last 8 and your ZIP code and I can run a VINCENT for you and tell you what rebates you get. Just remember, there are alot of "private offers" that are mailed/emailed to people. Sometimes, people don't even know they have them. If you PM me your last name, I can see if your name is on any manifest lists for extra rebates.

Didn't want to start a new thread and this one wasn't that old. I had a question about the incentives and x-plan, I'm looking to buy (if I'm able to get a x-plan pin from that other site) a V6 this weekend and I noticed they have a $2000 incentive, I also got a $750 brochure coupon, and I can get the $500 student offer. Can all these be combined with X-plan pricing and each other?

Yes and no is the better answer. Yes on the private offer, no on the student offer with X-Plan.

If your using X-Plan, the $500 college student offer is NOT valid. It never is compatible with either A/Z, D or X-Plan. Heck, its not even on the VINCENT as an option if you use X-Plan. The $750 private offer is valid and you can use that with the national program. So in your case your going to get $2,750 off a new car. That's pretty good. Sorry about the $500 college rebate. Its never compatible with plan deals.

And just in case your wondering, even if you were not using X-Plan, both the private offer and the Student Program rebate aren't compatible together. Always one or the other. Hope this helps.

Jeff

Again, thread isnt that old. Similar question regarding X Plan and rebates.

Through my employer i get a 3000 rebate and a lower invoice price, but I did the math and all they did was pull out the Delivery fee and then give me the 3k rebate. Ford currently offers the 3k rebate on the 2012 GT Mustang OR the 0% financing. This Xplan doesnt seem like a deal at all unless...

Is the xplan 3k rebate in addition to the dealer 3k rebate? ALso similar question on being a recent graduate, will i get the 500 off as well?
So would i get 3000+3000+500, this seems unlikely but I can hope.

Thanks

What model are you looking at?

x-plan is (Invoice * .996 + $275) which on a GT is almost $3k off MSRP
then you get the $3000 rebate on top of that.

college $500 doesn't work w x-plan but you may have a $750 private offer that will.

How do I know if I have the 750 private offer?

Also, I read somewhere in regards to the X Plan that the deliveryu fee of $795 is included in the X plan price and to make sure they dont double charge you. I this true?

call customer service 800.392.FORD and they'll tell you if you have one. If not go to ford.com and order a brochure by mail and you should get one.

It's not included in the formula ^ above so u have to add it, but i think it's included on the x-plan price shown on the car's invoice

edit:
  • The dealer is required to provide you with a true copy of the factory invoice showing the Partner Recognition price on the line labeled X-Plan. You should also receive a complete and signed AXZD-Plan Pricing Agreement showing each item and its price. Do not sign this form if it is blank or if you do not understand how the price was calculated. All added items must be documented on this form, including negative equity on trade
  • The X-Plan price is the amount shown in the box labeled "X-Plan" near the bottom of the factory invoice. The New Vehicle Purchase Program price includes advertising, finance costs, transportation, fuel charges and Ford Motor Company administrative fees. The dealership may not charge extra for these items
  • The New Vehicle Purchase Program customer is entitled to the price in effect at the time the vehicle was invoiced. Any money refunded to the dealer by Ford Motor Company for price increases occurring after the order is submitted, but before shipment to the dealer, must be refunded to the customer

cinque did a terrific job answering your questions. To put your mind at ease, just ask the dealer to show you the invoice. It has the X-Plan price on it. The price that is shown on the invoice, INCLUDES the destination & delivery!!
