No paper. Even the dealer was curious about it. I think it's kind of cool. Wish I had the proof to put away with all my Mustang paperwork.

Next week I have an apt to get an alarm system and starter put in. I feel uncomfy without some sort of alarm.

 

By the way, I love driving this car. I got this happening from the time I get in till I park it.

Thanks. I have silver stripes waiting in a box. Actually more gray I guess. I wanted them somewhat muted. I thought about black but me wife convinced me to go a little more bold.

I gotta repeat how nice the stone interior works against the black/charcoal parts. Finally a mistake that doesn't bite me on the ***.

I was told By Ford and My insurance Company that the Mustangs have a Passive Alarm. When you turn off the car it needs the key to start it. Your two keys have a chip and they are the only two keys that can.. I am getting a big discount from my insurance company because of that?

I have gray stripes. Double 10" from MoPro Auto. I'll install them tomorrow if it's nice out.

I'm getting a starter installed so I can start the car from my keychain.

The one thing I'm not crazy about so far is the nav interface. **** it's ugly and for me a bit tough to navigate. I'm sure I need more time with it but bleh.

 

Well, I decided to temper my sadness over the ever-extending ETA for my car (now July 7) by ordering the Boss side exhaust kit. I feel better now.

 

They seem to be getting to the Dealers much sooner. Mine was set to deliver on July 4th. It came in over a month earlier...

The Black 2014 GT/SC has arrived! It was built on 5/15 and delivered to the dealership on 5/27. Short time from build to delivery!. My dealership drove their 2014 GT/SC from Elizabethtown, KY to Salina, KS to do a dealer trade on Thursday, had my car back here late on Friday and this morning, it was in the detailing shop to be cleaned up and have Cilajet applied. Now, it's parked in the basement of the dealership waiting for the quarter and rear window louvers to arrive. Once those are added, it will be ready for pickup and life will be good! It is one beautiful car. Can't wait to lay down smoke and rubber!

 

Great Job on getting the car. Where did you end up getting it? It is really worth the hassle. You will love this car... Stock up on tires

 

Hey Scott, is this a GT/CS (California Special) or a GT/SC (Supercharged)? I thought only Shelby made the GT/SC.

 

It is a California Special GT/CS not the Shelby......**** fingers!

 

I watched the GT/CS Registry site and saw that a black glass roof automatic was being produced on 5/15 and gave the VIN numbers to my salesman/sales manager at Bob Swope Ford in Elizabethtown, KY. He looked it up and he saw that it was ordered by Long McArthur Ford in Salina, KS. He called Long McArthur to work out a dealer trade but they weren't sure when it was going to be in so I called everyday until it arrived and told Bob Swope to go get it!

It looks awesome and going to be great car. I found what I was looking for by doing the legwork and research myself. The dealership did go the extra mile to make me happy and get the only car l wanted so in the end it all worked out. Can't wait to drive it to the house!

Awesome, congratulations. I still can't figure out why someone would buy the GT/SC from Shelby when they can get the GT500 from Ford... Thought you might have the answer.
