Brilliant logic!

I think that whole Friday / Monday thing was more applicable back in the '70s and '80s, when quality was marginal to begin with and all it took was a couple of guys with the beer flu to totally jack up a car. The US OEMs have come a long way since then.

Not at all concerned about having a Monday car. Robots don't get hangovers, and modern quality control techniques/policies dictate that it's just not an issue anymore. Just looking at my window sticker this morning made it a little more real. Last night sucked (my home computer's power supply packed it in while I was at work, and corrupted the hard drive on it's way out) and today at work wasn't pleasant either, but seeing that window sticker definitely brightened it up a bit.

It’s not lost, lancemb. It’s still awaiting shipment.

I have been going by the dealer before work and after and even during lunch when possible circling the lot like a vulture hoping to see that big car hauler when I pull in. Still nothing!

Seriously? It hasn't left the plant yet? Honestly my patience is entirely gone. I have shipped cars across the country in way less time for less money than what I was charged for destination. Sorry to sour the mood but I have to call it how I see it. Starting to regret.

I'd chill a little bit. Just be patient. They could be waiting to fill a truck/rail car going to the same location, and haven't got enough cars to fill it yet. This isn't a valet, it's a giant plant cranking out 700 cars per day. Yours could get bumped if one with a higher priority comes off the line. There are a ton of factors involved in moving out that many cars. Your car will get to you, you have an order and a number and a spot in line. But like any line, there are occasionally cutters. Like VidPro said, you're still ahead of many others in this thread. There are people who ordered well after I did that just got the same build date as I did. I'm not griping, it is what it is. Have a beer and watch some playoffs (hockey, basketball, whatever your flavor).

It's a big deal. I've got my window sticker set to open in a tab everytime I open my browser. I'm not sure if it's making me more or less patient, but it makes me

Did you let them take off the interior plastic or did you do that too? Did the white wrap on the paint pull off easy or is it stuck on with something?
I didn't have them do anything. And there was very limited plastic on the outside but it came off easy.

Yes they have, watch the mustang factory build video, you can see the pride they have in building the cars.

Call your dealer, they can go get the car and drive it back if your in a hurry. It won't move until they have a load heading out. They won't send one car.
