Just checked the tracking site today, shows in transit. And the funny thing is my salesperson I bought the car from sent me an email on Saturday telling me that he would be checking with Ford everyday and tell me when the car was built, and I haven't heard anything from him yet.

 

At least your salesperson didn't tell you 4-6 weeks. Mine is taking 13. I'm going to go pay them a visit next week, they owe me.

 

She's finally here!! All I have to say is I'm glad to be a Mustang owner..... Thanks Deysha for helping me out during the ordering process. Your updates definitely helped keep me at ease while I waited.

Awesome thread guys! I ordered my 2014 DIB California Special Gt Feb 12th and I haven't even received a Vin# to show for it! I've called the dealer a few times with zero answers and no cooperation. Needless to say my patience is a running thin and to top it off another dealer has the same car except for the lack of one option compared to the one I ordered. I think waiting 9 weeks is long enough. Sorry for the rant just frustrating.

 

What's the last day to order a 2014, assuming the dealer still has allocations left? Anyone know?

 

If you've got your build sheet, just PM Deysha (FordService) your order number and the dealer's name and she'll hook you up with more info than the dealer could give you anyways.

 

I thought it was April 4 or something like that, but I'm still seeing people popping up getting their builds in. Maybe Deysha can shed some light on it?

 

I thought so too, and that is what I've found across the web, but people keep saying they've ordered cars and the sales people on here keep saying April is the last month.

 

Maybe it's the last month that dealers can make changes to the final allocations of their cars, so you can only get an "order" if they already have the allocation in the pipe? Just a theory.

 

Hey lakeguy77 thanks for the comment... I have a few plans but it'll definitely take some time. I'll probably start out with the exhaust, either the Roush axlebacks or the Borla Atak catbacks. At some point I would like to change the rims for the ones that the Roush Stage 3 Mustangs have and lower it. As far at the engine goes I plan on putting in the Boss 302 manifold along with a new intake. That's about it for now, any suggestions?

 

Been refreshing my build page all day on and off, waiting to see when it ships, all of a sudden tonight it went from 45 days left to 15! says now estimated deliver is now May 2, no longer May 31!
