Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know I have received a Vin for my mustang. I ordered on 4-10-14 should be scheduled hopefully by end of the week my priority is 10 for those of you wondering.

Also , what can I say Deysha your awesome she has been of tremendous help giving me answers before my dealer can. Deysha thank you for all the help you provide us with just out of good heart.

 

it can still arrive earlier, mine kept saying may 31 up until a few days ago, then it went to May 2. right now its on the train and the dealer says arrival is between april 28-may2 is what their computer shows.

everything is at the bottom of my signature, i ordered on 3/5, dealer sent in on a priority 12, but someone at ford changed it to a priority 01. got vin and window sticker really quick, but then the plant closed for 3 weeks for maint or ? it reopened on 4/14, which was my build date, and now its on the way. if the plant had not been shut down for 3 weeks, i probably would have had it by now.

Congrats to everyone (disneyfun, VidPro, etc) who will soon get their new Stangs delivered! The weather just keeps getting better and I guess that most people here have routes planned already for a nice long ride when their ponies finally arrive. I'm already planning that and I just placed my order. lol
I was wondering, how long do new orders tend to sit at Order Processing in the tracking site before they get moving into production? I got Priority 11. One week?

 

I ordered on 3/23 (day after the plant shut down) and got my VIN about a week later, but mine is still sitting in Order Processing, 1 week after the plant re-opened. Deysha said to expect my window sticker around the end of the month, with the build date roughly a week later, which would put my wait time (minus the shutdown) at around 3 weeks. And mine is a priority 10, which is the lowest the dealer can assign.

Congratulations and welcome! It depends on alot of factors, such as priority code, dealer allocation, orders pending, ect. It took me 3 weeks to get my vin, while another member got his in 1 week, both with the same priority code and ordered the same day. Don't worry though yours should show up quicker than the current batch of guys waiting with me. We all endured a 3 week plant shut down for retooling . Your car will be here quicker than you know and you'll be enjoying it all summer!

How do dealers decide priority? Just curious.
