My car was done and outside May 2nd. And I am still waiting for it to arrive. So it can happen quickly or you can be waiting for what feels like forever.

hi deysha thank you for checking on my order, you are the greatest, i called the dealer today and they are having a meeting tomorrow with the ford rep and will try to find out what the hold up is. the dealer is frustrated as much as i am. 77 days and counting no vin, no build date,no shelby

Car is AT the dealership getting the pre-delivery inspection done!!! 
I have been assured the car will stay in the service bay all afternoon (forecast is for tornadoes and hail in the area in a short while).
Now I just need to make sure my trade-in doesn't get clobbered!
I have a meeting that ends at 3pm- should be at the dealer by 3:15!

Is it me or is waiting on our cars to be built pure torture? Dealer told me last week I had a build week of 6/3 but he wasn't sure of ETA yet. Deysha informed me today my build week would probably be the following week with an ETA of 6/26. I can't wait another month. The ETA kills me as it looks like 2 weeks for the car to go 60 miles from Flat Rock to Ann Arbor. Fingers crossed the ETA gets moved forward as time goes on. Guess it gives me plenty of time to name her. Thanks again Deysha for the update, you ROCK!!!! Let the countdown begin.

.Hey Deysha, quick question. If my Shelby gets "stuck" so to speak waiting on delivery, does Ford allow the dealer to pick it up? My car only has to travel 60 miles to Ann Arbor so I am sure someone at the dealership would be happy to take a 60 mile joy ride in the Shelby if allowed. Hopefully it doesn't come to that. Waiting a couple weeks for a completed car 60 miles away would be a killer.

I'm hoping it gets delivered today. The dealer is open late today, so I could make it there after work before closing. :-)

Add me to the wait list. Ordered on 05/07. Getting a SG GT Convertible base model with tech package. Looks like I may not make it before the plant shut down. Hopefully it will get ramped up before July.
