Never count on dyno numbers being identical, every dyno is different, every car is different. Even from day to day things can change to change the dyno reading.

Really all a dyno is is a comparison tool, make a run, do a change, make another run and compare the difference to see if the change helped or hurt.

A big initial number is good for bragging rights but it's just a number.

 

Sounds about right. And I hear you, I bounce off of it more often than not. I find it to be too quiet near the redline. A good axleback should fix that

 

Dynojets seem to be pretty similar at various locations. I agree there is no direct comparison, but from the various data plots I've seen from dynojets, mine is right in line, maybe a touch higher than average for a basically stock car.

I really wish the 2013 GT with Corsa AB's that came had been able to run on the same dyno for a direct comparison that same day... but the dyno broke and the rest of the group had to switch to a different shop!

Redline should be 6800, but the engine begs to rev higher as noted above!

 

Yes, better at redline. Lots of engine noise too, but the combo is good. took out the sound tube too which gives a more "natural" sound in the cabin too. Windows down though WOT is much better. I've bounced the rev limiter much less with the axle-backs. I do think I'll get rid of the resonators at some point, but it sounds awesome with the GT500 mufflers.

Yeah sounded very good - a little more volume wouldn't be bad so I might end up removin the resonators. We'll see. I got a couple videos as well that I will try to post later on.

 

No, GT does not have a 7K rev limit on the stock tune.

 

Nice numbers, I'm jealous! My 2013 GT/Brembo with 3.31's stock put down 365/345 on a Dynojet in August this year. Kept hitting the top speed governor in both 4th and 5th gear pulls. Guys at the shop said I got hosed by 5-10hp on the top end.

Your stock numbers were what I was shooting for stock, but hey they're close enough!

 

Yeah if you topped out in speed you probably missed out on the very peak, as mine was right at redline.
