This happened to me when I ordered my Boss at my local dealer. Come to find out 10 weeks later they lost their allocation. Luckily I found the one I wanted 30 miles away. The moral to the story was Ford does work better with some dealers than others depending upon the volume of vehicles they move.

Check with your dealer to find out the allocation that was assigned to them from the regional rep.

I agree with you. She also gives the best information. I called SVT yesterday morning to get a update (this was before she had a chance to update me) and they told me that my car was Missouri. Im so glad that we have her to update us because it was actually in Mississippi.

Hi Deysha, sent you a pm also. went to the dealer yesterday to show my daughter the color i ordered..... big mistake. she was drawn to the gotta have it green. the saleman were laughing as i looked at that color with apparently an unfavorable way. don't take a teen daughter to pick a color for you. i might have to change it to dib to keep the family judges happy. the dealer still said i have time to alter the color and that it was also possible to get it by the end of june.

I'm 46 and I LOVE the GHIG color. Then again, I loved the Yellow Blaze and the Grabber Blue Mustangs I have owned as well.

 

didn't mean to disparage the color. i actually like it myself but i'm too conservative to have it...

Most of my co-workers are shocked when they see my choice of colors. I am very conservative at work...my wife calls me the prototypical engineer geek... but I have a wild side and my cars express that side

thanks for the encouragement Deysha, just called the dealer and made the change. wife and son wanted black so i guess my daughter is the odd one out.
