Deysha,
Is this the last week for scheduling 2013 Mustangs? If not, will any cars be scheduled during the shutdown, Nov 5th to Nov 25th?

Heard from Deysha today (thank you, sweet lady) that my coupe finishes the build process tomorrow (Friday), and ETA at my dealer is put at Nov. 13, give or take. Good news, but I never thought it would take approx. 14 weeks to procure a garden variety Mustang. I have been ordering new cars for 40 years, and I have never had one take more than 8-9 weeks from order to delivery.

Through me or your dealer, DarkKnight. Yours is 12/10/12, which is subject to change.
Beautiful! Congrats, Craiger.
Maybe we can get you on the highway at the same time as the truck.
Congrats, Snoopy49. Did you get your VIN? PM me if you didn’t.
I believe so. Shipping and scheduling is still up and running, just not production for the next 3 weeks.
That’s because this one is the “crème de la crop,” Mickstang!

Sweet!
My Dealer contacted me yesterday and I found out that the Train distribution center is about 20 minutes away from my house... The dealer is about 2 hours away... So the car, once it's here and gets on a truck will pass right by my house... LOL! Sad that it'll be so close, yet so far away!!

I don't know. I think overall that mine is moving along pretty well. It's only been 4 1/2 weeks since I ordered it. I'm guessing it will arrive around the first published ETA of Nov. 11th, rather than the current ETA of Nov. 6th. You just keep enjoying your new pony, LOL.
Your window sticker is just appearing early because production will be shut down for a few weeks, so there's no chance your pony will be built earlier than that blend date.

Thanks Deysha, your the best. I am still stuck thinking about summer retools for new bodies back in the muscle car days(old ones), lol.
Will this lead to a better paint job or is it cost savings??
I think there is a new 3 coat wet paint application they're implementing.
