Thanks for the replies guys. I almost feel guilty for getting her after only a month of waiting while so many of you guys are being tortured. She's already dirty from riding around soggy, post-hurricane New Jersey, but I'll fix that soon. Yes, it is stone interior, which I think is gorgeous in its contrast to all the black trim. I still can't get over the endless supply of torque; I feel like I don't even need to downshift to accelerate! I'll get some more pics once I switch to the winter wheels (GT500s) and get her cleaned up. Thanks again Deysha for your help!

From the article you linked to, it looks like the new paint process won't be implemented until the Fusion goes into production in 2013. Have you heard anything that says it will be operational when the plant reopens on Nov 26th? I would like to know what paint process will be used on my car.

Do you know when the order banks close for the 2013 Mustangs?

And you don't think your black GT/CS is gonna attract attention? You'll have to keep a cloth in the trunk to wipe off all the drool.

I hate blending.. If I am going to be in a Mustang I def don't like to blend. I have to say I never loose my Mustang in a parking lot!!

I'm pis.......d off because one of the hood strip has bubbles and not sticking, and look at the side stripe on the passenger door...

Now the dealer will re-order some stripes, but it culd take 2-3 weeks

Crap Dineau. Can't believe what you have been dealing with. How would that have left the plant or did this happen in transit?

Looks more like pressure washer issue to me. Maybe the stripe was not completely stuck ???

But in any case I'm stuck with this for a couple of weeks....

Sinister Iceknyght. Looks like red interior too! Black cars look so good. Considered a black one the dealer had in stock but couldn't face the cleaning routine again. Besides that i have 2 black vehicles already

That is horrible! Those stripes look weird to begin with, maybe cause of the transparency? I hope they get it handled correctly for you!!

 

Thanks! Yep, red interior too! And since this is the fun weekend car, it'll be in the garage under a cover a lot, so hopefully I won't have to clean it ALL the time, just most of the time...
