I dont even have a VIN or a build date yet because i ordered it with the track pack. Im pretty sure no one has taken delivery of a 13 yet. The dudes who didnt order track packs got build dates for the week of the 26th and probably should see there cars the first or second week of april. But its likely well have to wait till next week to hear anything unfortunately.

 

Oh ****. I didn't know that. My dealer was telling me I should have a build date within 2-3 weeks of ordering it, and it should be here 2-3 weeks after that. I ordered 2/29, so I am hoping to get something within the next week or so. Only thing I can do is bite my tongue and wait in agony

 

Question: Talked to my sales guy last Saturday about getting a copy of the DORA, but he couldnt get me anything that day becouse the guy that does that work wasn't there.
told me to call on monday, so I did and he gave me the order number but without having any special paper I don't know if its the real deal. Its olny about 4 characters long, one letter with 3 numbers afterwards, so is this correct?

Sounds right to me. My dealer uses the day the order is entered for an order number. Mine is 0104

Here's my DORA.

No build date or VIN yet. Based on what ThrustangFiveO has stated (track package delays) - I'm not sure what's holding up this build. I'm speculating it's something in package 203A, or package 203A itself.

I'll check with Deysha for an update.

 

Just a clarification, what you posted wasn't a DORA (dealer order receipt acknowledgement). It's a VOC (Vehicle Order Confirmation). VOC is what the dealer sees at the time they key in an order to the order banks. DORA is what Ford sends back to the dealer a day or two later acknowledging that they received the order.

 

Roger that. My PDF document didn't have page headers for whatever reason, and my fleet manager insisted what he sent me was the DORA (though he may be a tad disorganized and not remembering what he sent me).

I know there's been some confusion in this thread on this ... but I Googled for what a true DORA actually looks like.

Without reviewing all 2075 previous posts, I'm not sure if anyone has actually posted a current DORA here.

Also, can any of the dealers state why not all features of an option group are detailed on the VOC? For example, the print material I have for 53B shows that this should include the power passenger seat, but the VOC doesn't detail that. Just making sure I shouldn't be concerned that there is a discrepancy between the print material and reality.

 

The power passenger seat is part of the comfort group, which is listed. No one at my dealership seems to know the term DORA either, though I got my VOC.

 

Hey Brian, my apologies for not replying yesterday. It got busy and I sold 2 cars. In my region, no track pack GTs are getting scheduled this week. Maybe next week, but not this week.
