2013 Mustang Order Guides (including GT500) & Price Lists
Very true, it was this site that led me to X-Plan and all the great people who work for Ford who helped me verify and plan my 2013 build. Once I got educated and started using industry terms the dealership became very businesslike and less sales-oriented.
The $1,000 rebate was in the Ford system for all of about 6 days and then it went down to $500. For anyone who has ordered the car before I believe Feburary 3rd (I think) the dealer can give the $1,000 rebate, they just have to email a copy of the VINCENT to program HQ to get it authenticated and get paid. If you ordered after the rebate change, you won't get it.

Although on this site the popularity of the track pack seems like a big draw, it will make it to a very small percentage of units built. Believe it or not most mustang owners never make it to a forum like this.
Mustang clubs would be much, much larger if everyone (or even most everyone) who owned a mustang joined one. As stated before, most people will order base- and premium-model V6's and GT's. Most will eschew the track packages/3.73 rear ends/BBP's because of $$$. Few loaded GT's will be sold and far fewer Bosses and Shelbys. It's probably why there will be so many V6's sold. That's really not a bad thing. Often, the most outspoken people on an issue are the extreme minority. That's no different with Mustang owners.
Question, I ordered 2/27/12 my mustang, got for $200 over invoice. I am hoping that is a good deal, I am new to this forum and was hearing about Xplan pricing and etc... Also, as to the rebate, what I was told is $500 or whatever is in place when the car arrives which I am expecting to be late May when they may have $1000 again. Also, any news on the MGP for the GT's? I know the weight was reduced so thought maybe 1 mgp more or so.

I think mine was built on 03/05, but I just figured out how to go to the web and get the window sticker. Does the window sticker tell the ACTUAL build date? I can see it is being transported by rail from Flat Rock but what else does this window sticker tell be BESIDES THE OBVIOUS?
