I wonder if he even knew what a mustang was? Lol. I had the same experience kinda. Went to one dealer and they didn't know squat about 13's. I called another dealer and we ordered it ASAP he was also a huge car guy. The other dealer called me a month after and said they're still awaiting info for the 13s. I know how frustrating it can be dealing with dealers who don't know or just don't care. Anyone looking in the Socal area, I know an amazing dealer..

 

Getting a car enthusiast to work with you on ordering these is such a huge bonus. Though I'm willing to bet that 70-year old knows exactly what a mustang is: He was in his 20's when the first one rolled off the line. I'm sure that at one point he felt about them like we do about ours.

 

The Mustang is almost 50 so he would have been the right age at the right time for the silver age of the Mustang.

 

I was joking guys. He'd have to live under/in a rock not to know what one of the best American cars is

Vieras, el asunto conmigo es que llevo 3 semanas desde que pregunte por ese carro y les di la configuracion de como lo queria. Y el vendedor que tengo solo me sale con excusas, que el gerente no ha podido configurarlo, que ha estado fuera del pais, entonces no tengo el dato todavia.
Usted trato con un vendedor o fue directamente con el gerente de ventas?
Yo llevo me parece demasiado tiempo en esto, esperando a ver los precios y si al final me parece el precio y empezar la negociacion, usted como cuanto duro en eso? Usted como lo ve? Lo ve normal el tiempo o tengo que hablar con otra persona mejor? Por que sinceramente esto ya me esta cansando.

 

Eso eso.... Yo fui a la agencia la primera semana de enero, un martes, sali de la oficina a las 4 y me deje ir, mire el V6 y pregunte por el V8 y ahi mismo hice el trato, en realidad dure como dos horas en hacer todo. La diferencia es q solo pedi el GT Premium de colo gris e interior saddle, pague lo q me pidieron para hacer el pedido especial y el dia q me llamaron q lo iban a pedir agregue en ese momento el comfort pack y los aros. Tania, la vendedora ha estado super bien, y Ernesto el gerente de ventas, estaba mas emocionado q yo el dia q lo estaban ordenando. Pq no me pasa las specs q quiere y yo trato de preguntarle a Tania a ver q me dice. De fijo se q el precio no va a ser ni parecido al mio, ya eso se lo aseguro de una, en realidad creo q me fue muy bien al haber hecho el negocio en Enero, pero por lo menos trato de q le den una cotizacion rapido.

But talking about Mustang history, gotta say, it wasn`t until the 2011 5.0 came out that I became a fan, before, naaah, I didn`t really care at all.

Ahi vi el V6 en la expo, no suena mal para ser el V6, ahora imaginese el V8.
Dicen que vendieron todos, como 6 que les quedaban, pero que madre, es es la version super basica.
Esa expo solo para eso sirve, para que ellos salgan de las pegas de inventario.

 

I'm glad you spoke to a manager Brian. From the start of your post, I was getting worried. I can tell you what, that 70 yr old either needs to keep learning his craft (you have to in this business, as you can't sit still or it will pass you by) or he needs to retire. Can't believe he tried to pick it apart and say it wasn't legitimate. What does he care, it isn't coming out of his pocket. Just stay on top of them buddy. You should get the rebate. The dealer just has to do a little work to get it approved!!

Pony projection mirrors are only available in V6 and GT Premium USA order guide, in Canadian one its not even mentioned
