The 2013 Mustang is officially here!
True, Tom, very true - I'm not diggin' that new front end design. But I think from a sales standpoint Ford will do well with the 2013-2014 models, because they still remain true to the overall great look of the 2010 re-style. Shant, you will be cleaning that rear panel daily for fingerprints and dust, I think. And the 'faux' gas cap now looks simply like a stick-on badge. I have a picture of my 2011 GT, same Race Red color, same picture angle, so you can see the front-end changes side-by-side.

The '13 looks more like the '05 than the '10

The colors may be good for 2013 model year Mustangs, but I want more. I would like to get a competition orange GT500, but will have to settle for my second choice of Race Red. How can Ford not offer competition orange or Bronze for 2013 ? How many sales does Ford lose because of unavailable colors ? When buyers want a certain color and it is not available, they walk.
Bronze-ish colors are not out going. Green are the new in-style colors. Browns and oranges were a thing of the 2006-2010 years. Check out the color of my avatar, that's the actual emblem on my Sunset Pearl car. It's a 2007. I have seen some 07/08 Ford Edges in a similar orange color.
I just absolutely love the 5 spoke wheels on the red 2013 Mustang posted by Topnotch. Those wheels would look so very good on a red GT500. I wonder if those wheels could be widened and installed on a GT500 without running into brake caliper clearance problems ?
I am not sure about widening, but perhaps you can find something similar aftermarket? I personally love the PP wheels, the wheels and track suspension make it so appealing! I just hope they dont rape us on the price.

Of course folks will like what they like, that's cool. I'm sure lots of new 2013 buyers will like the new wheel designs. I'm happy that Ford keeps revising and refreshing the Mustang. IMHO, I do not like the 2013 wheels. I am partial to the classic-modern 'Bullitt' style 5-spoke design. Here's some pics of the ones I like (the first one is my own 2011 GT, 19" nickel wheel):

!!!! grabber with black stripes is my #1 choice, Deep impact with white stripes is 2nd. If you are as **** as I am, the maintainence of a dark car will drive you insane.
