They're almost the same as the Taurus SHO wheels...

I was at the PRI show this weekend and saw the "Gotta have it green" it doesn't look bad.

I have to say, the back is a large improvement over the last one.

Also, it looks like the Boss side exhaust will be a Ford Racing part.

Giving FORD props!

Notice that the cars at PRI have no more hood props!

But the Green one still has the prop

The ones that don't have the prop are open for show goers. They removed the standard prop to prevent people from hitting or getting caught on it. Those things have a way of not being noticed when you are drooling over the engine.

Now days they only leave those gas springs off the cars to throw aftermarket a bone...

The yellow and black ones are heavily modified ones. The green is standard GT. I think when they work on racing engines, they just take the hood off. So they may have put something in temporarily for show.

Thank you for pointing that out. I just thought my monitor was on its side.

I thought it was a new plexiglass hood option.

Did anyone notice the 2013 mustang pics on fords website have been tweaked? When they first went live the all white GT had no grill mounted fogs. Now ford has superimposed the grill mounted fogs into 2 of the pics and deleted the bumper mounted fogs. They also photoshopped the brembo wheels out of 2 or more of the pictures in favor of those hideous rims shown in the spy pics. Why?

ha i did notice that the other day. I think they were trying to align the images in the photos with the descriptions on the side. They referenced cali special for the white one but it had the brembo rims and fogs.

On that note they should throw all the press release images up as well. why only have those few?

EDIT: not related to the above, in all these interviews with ford personnel on the 2013, why has no one asked about why they didnt upgrade the door panels with a better plastic. If anyone gets a chance at an auto show, please do!

Good catch. Not only GT/CS, V6 pony package also changes. The ugly all around chrome frame gone and the pony spike is back! Ford is listening.

A better plastic is no plastic! Well I would rather see the same soft padded material as the 2010+ dashboard used on the door panels and center console. For me it's okay if they use a plastic as a base to inject a soft padded skin over it but at this point I am tired of feeling like I am sitting in a Rubbermaid storage tote with all these too easy to scuff surfaces around me. I don't get that feeling when I am in our new 2012 Focus. However at this point I don't think it is worth a redo for two years when the 2015 is just around the corner. It will be here sooner than we think.
