You mean the Pony Corral! I was worried it was gone for good! I am relieved it carried over into the new fascia because that is one thing I have always liked...

Something I just noticed they darkened the taillamps in these revised pictures so that the halo LED's are stealth and seem to only show up when lit.

There have been alot of pics with various degrees of lighting. There are some with the cars parked with the front and rear LEDs on some with them driving with no LEDs some with just the highlight bars and some with the full on headlights. i dont think we are going to know exactly what is lit up when until the cars are actually in peoples hands.
I am hoping the front and rear LEDs are on whenever the car is on as DRLs. that would look great.

Yes, that's what I mean. It is my all-time like part. I hope it look better in person. The pictures show the nose a little too oversized.

Well speaking of lit up ponies, I anticipate one of the first new 2013 stickies will be how to get the side mirror light projected ponies to stay lit while driving... LOL!

I scanned all 28 pages of posts and I didn't see any of my "must haves" addressed. Ford did a great job with the 2013s but, if I'm to trade up from my 05 GT ragtop, basic must-haves I want are:
*Power adjustable seat backs (even econo-boxes have them now);
*Solar reflective glass (wife's RAV4 has that);
*Sun-reflective leather treatment (so anyone wearing shorts doesn't get burned);
*One-touch up-and-down rear windows in convertibles (or do I still have to go aftermarket to get 'em?); and
For coupe buyers, where (after all these years) is the g-d sunroof option? And don't talk to me about the glass roof option. The car's got the headroom, unlike the Camaro that has a sunroof option. Challenger's have a sunroof. Where's the sunroof option for Mustang coupe buyers? Geeze!
And dare I ask: Why no pop-up roll-bars for ragtops? Half the Mustang sales in Canada are soft-tops (much greater percentage than in the US - go figure?) and our roads are slippery - roll-overs are common enough. Surely (don't call me Shirley) the time has come for roll-over protection.

Hi Guys. New member here, First post.
WOW, after reading all 29 pages and 8 pageson the order guide thread I want a 2013 to replace my freshly totaled (last saturday) 2012 GT Premium. My only dilema is deciding between a shelby and a fully loaded GT Premium. I absolutely hate the front end of the new GT. My 2012 had a boss front end with a Saleen Grille, it was so beautiful. The only reason I may not get the shelby is it's so much more, but it's my dream car. I guess I have to wait till the prices are here in January.

That's what im thinking. I just cant gulp the 14k extra for a shelby when I can get a gt with ricaros, track pack, and all the bells and whistles for so much less. Haven't gotten the car and I'm already dreaming up mods hehe.

I think once everyone sees the GT front in person, they will like it. Most cars just dont look as good in picture as they do when seen firsthand in person. I really am thinking the halo on the tailights will be spectacular. So far , I am really pleased with the changes Ford made to the Mustang for 2013. I am just overwhelmed by the design changes and features. The GT has never been better and the GT500 is simply awsum.

Even if the 2013 nose looks better in person then it still will not look as good as a 2010-12 GT, because that was simply perfect.
Well except maybe for those weird fiddly black thingies at the lower corners. A small detail however.

I believe the revised front end is designed to meet the EU requirements for pedestrian safety. I noticed the rear bumper has the cut out for the larger EU license plates. Just thinking.....

While the width of the black piece looks to be suitable for a wider plate, there are raised strakes that would be in the way. The plate part looks just to be North American-sized.

In my country a new 2012 Mustang GT costs over $100,000 because of this. And therefore noone is buying them period. We need an new SVO here and in my view that is exactly what Ford will launch for the European market in 2015.

The current generation, including the updated 2013 is basically unsellable in most the European markets. Many countries here have CO2 output based purchase tax on cars nowadays and these big old fashioned V6 and V8 engines don't stand a chance against the extremely low emissions stuff brands like BMW and Audi are putting out. This new taxation system is causing a massive move to 2 liter 4 banger turbos.
