I'm gonna check it out again on Monday. I'm gonna bring my 05 and see what they'll give me in trade.

Like you've said it's probably a different animal with a tune. I've a co worker that had an 06GT with AT and did a tune and he said it was like having a completely new car.

I was on surface streets today, had just started from a traffic signal and had a couple of vehicles in front of me. The lead vehicle was being really pokey and I wanted to change lanes to get around him. I couldn't have been going more than about 20 when I punched it (in Drive) and it took off like a big-assed bird. The responsiveness was quite surprising. I'm really enjoying my new Mustang and am SO glad I got the automatic.

I also have the 13 GT with auto and although it,s nice that you can keep it in second for autocrossing, the delay to upshift is pretty lame. The fact that the motor shuts down for multiple seconds when you redline only makes matters worse. At the end of the day I am happy with keeping it full auto even in spirited driving but it would be nice if someone knew of a tune that would either make it shift faster and/or only shut power for the time you overrev, not for multiple seconds. Anyone know of such an option?

Amazon in South Carolina specialize in Autos. I would check with them.

Auto. trans. tune

The transmission is bulletproof and is a blast to drive. My car will beat a manual 9/10 times with the same mods. The new Automatics are great. The select shift feature wouldn't be taken into consideration for me just the quality and consistency of the 6R80 itself.
Canyou tell me what tune you are using?

I used the select shift once since I've had the car. Too much delay.
