Actually was a 89 pace car edition. And from what I hear, it smoked the grand national.

GM put the Grand National motor in that Trans Am GTA. Not sure about the year for the TA. But it was one crazy stock sixer. A co worker of mine has that GTA in white.

That's the one. Allegedly GM killed that one and the grand national because it was killing the vette.

Oh yeah, it was destroying the Vette, which back in the 80's was the top gun. On side note, about the stang. All stangs are great no matter how fast, slow, engine size, color, etc. I loved the look of the 2010 and previous years from 05 and up.

I didn't buy a 2010 or 09 because I wanted the performance and speed of the Gt, but I only was willing to pay for the price of the sixer. The previous sixers went much slower and didn't give me what I was looking for in performance for a pony so I held off and didn't buy one.

Then when I saw a commercial on television back in 2010 advertising the new 2011 stang with the new engine I had to look. After seeing the price of the 11 it was perfect for what I was looking for. Close, while not identical in performance and speed to the 2010 GT but yet priced as a sixer.

I'm having trouble believing the OP's reasons for starting this thread given the fact that he didn't start a similar thread in the general forum. Shouldn't potential gt owners be told about the differences between the gt and the boss so they can be informed car buyers as well? What if some dude's like "I'm getting me a gt", but what best fits his needs is really a boss? Just saying...

You can easily fix that by putting on an after market exhaust. I have flowmasters on mine and it sounds great. The 11 and up has true dual exhaust and with the flowmasters it sounds close to a stock GT. Besides if one really wants a deeper growl you can add headers for a few bucks.

If i didn't know any better it sounds as you V8 boys are little green with envey about what Ford did with its new engine for the V6. Don't get me wrong, the new 5.0 is in a class all by itself along with the new 3.7 sixer.

I agree, anyone that doesn't get down on their knees an suck the **** of a
Boss owner shouldn't even post in the Boss forum. Even if they say repeatedly what a great car it is, if they deviate from glorious praise of all things Boss, even a little to question whether someone should buy the Boss or a GT depending on which was the right car for them, they should probably be banned from the site. Anyone that would dare to even mention that that any other Mustang even compares is obviously a troll and probably should be killed in public. Everyone knows that the Boss and the people who own them are the greatest people on earth, and anyone else should be prepared to be called "****ing retards" and all of the other degrading innuendos that Boss owners have posted in this thread.

Trans Am was a TTA

It was a Trans Am with a turbo Grand National motor

Very rare. I know a guy that has one. Of course he also has a 93 teal Cobra, Viper, and a GodZilla.

How dare you even mention those cars in the Boss forum, they are beneath these people.

They never were TOP Dog, up to that point, NA belong to the 03-04 Mach1

Yes sir, my bad 100% percent correct. TTA. You don't really see many of them. If not mistaken I think they only produced a limited number of the TTA.

True, Mach 1 are kick a$$ but back then the sixers were nice looking but speed and performance wise they were so slow and they couldn't get out of there own way. If not mistaken large majority of consumers had the GT because it delivered that power and performance. It was top dog for regular stangs. Not including the other specialty stangs, Shelby, Saleen, Steeda etc.
