Everyone *****ed they wanted softer material and better quality. This happens with soft, supple leather.

I ordered the 401a. I only drive my Mustang in good weather and living in NY it is not as often as i would like. So my seats do not get as much use as someone with a DD. But i have never seen leather seats not wrinkle no matter how poor quality in some area of the seat. If i want a better quality interior than my 08 then the 401a is the best choice.

I agree I don't think that any leather seat won't wrinkle eventually. I was just surprised at how quickly they do in 401a. I don't think it has anything to do with the quality of the leather. Its because the finish is smooth so it shows up easily.

In 400a the leather is already perforated and ribbed show the wrinkles don't show as much. Another reason I want to switch is because I like the bright aluminum dash. That shifter from the 401a is a must though...

I can attest to the cold part living in MI. At 20 degrees in the morning it takes a few min to warm up. Was thinking about getting a cover of some sort, maybe one of my kid's socks

Probably just as true (but in the opposite regard) for when it's cold.

Whatever tho.

The 401a really looks special in person. The extra touches make all the difference. I've got the red in my '10...

Wow Dascoyne, that looks great! Thanks for posting!

I'm glad I'm getting that interior for my 2011 GT!

Since I ordered the candy red with the 401a and I can relplace the ***** on the dash as well as the shift know i would like to replace them with parts that are anodized red to reflect the exterior

Do you have a link to that?

I was just going to get some red pony floor mats from American Muscle. That will give a little more red accent in the interior. It will help break up the black interior.
