2011 Rapid Spec 401a??

What is included in the rapid spec 401a for the Mustang Premium?? I know the seats get a white stripe, but what else is different for the extra $400 bucks?

If someone can help- I dont know if it's worth ordering. Some Pony badge? anyone have any pictures on the 2010?

It adds 401A is the Premium Trim with color leather accent choices including unique door trim with a chrome Pony accent, dark aluminum instrument panel, and aluminum shift ****.. Leather choices include: Charcoal Black with Cashmere colored racing stripe; Charcoal Black with Grabber Blue racing stripe; or Brick Red with Cashmere colored racing stripe. I think it is worth it, my father has the 401A and I really like how it "appears" compared to the inside of a 2010 without the 401A...it's not that much compared to how much the car costs......hope this helps

Take note of the door trim, the dash panel, and the shifter ****. Shifter **** will be a bit different, as those are 2010 pics.

400a (not the best pics, but will do)

Did I miss anything?

I actually prefer the 400a trim, but I'm in a small minority. Most people love the 401a.

I like the everything in the 400a better except for the shift **** and lack of stitched door armrests. I will probably opt for the 400a and replace the arm rests & shift **** to richen the interior a bit.

401A is worth it for the shift **** alone....

I'm just glad they make it an orderable option. On my '09, I had to buy the (expensive) Bullitt bits after the fact to get it.

I think you can get factory stripes with 400a, not 401a.

400A looks better IMO. I prefer EVERYTHING about 400A except for the shift ****, which is why I'm adding the 401A **** to my vehicle. Already have the ****, just need the shift boot.

I like the darker dash face of the 401A, too bad you can't get this on a V6 !!

Something I did not notice before, but it looks like they leather-wrapped the e-brake handle too !!

I like the darker look of the dash in the 401a but I don't like the texture. I think it clashes with the texture of the dash (IMHO). I ordered the 400a and may also be switching out the shift lever, first I have to see how it feels for awhile. I like the leather ribbings better too in the 400a. I have a feeling it may be more comfortable on hot days.

I like the pony on the door panels of the 401A. But I love love love Saddle interior, so 400A for me. I like the silver dash better too.

I just ordered my first Mustang. I did order the 401A. The only thing I would do differently is to color the bright aluminum the color of the car. Not with paint but a hint of the color, more of a stain look over the metal

The only major complaint I hear about the 401a shift **** is when it's really hot the shifter heats up pretty well. It'll make the first few shifts an annoyance due to the fact the metal shifter has been cooking...
Probably just as true (but in the opposite regard) for when it's cold.

Whatever tho.

I'm still torn between 400a and 401a. I like the stripe in 401a, but I'm concerned the leather wrinkles more with 401a....

Yeah I test drove a 2010 last August when it was 110 outside and the stick shift on the 401A was way hot...like Indiana Jones face melting hot, well maybe not that hot....but you get the idea...

I can't get over the wrinkling of the leather in the 401a, can anyone aleviate my concerns? I think the 400a might be more durable with it being perforated and ribbed.

I think I'm just going to get 400a and buy a 401 shifter and boot.

I know it's stupid but I can't get over it.... It bugs the crap out of me

Maybe the people sitting in these cars were really fat?
