This may be true, but that doesn't mean that cars haven't been keeping up with inflation

Ford and other manafacturers are increasing the price of the cars according to inflation and the cost of goods along with a set profit per car. It is amazing on how much a new car costs today. I priced out a well specd out Fiesta and it came in at $23K!!

EXACTLY...this is the Mustang that stays true to the original formula more so than the GT!! Let's see, short deck, long hood, RWD, VERY AFFORDABLE, simple, nimble, higher power to weight ratio than the 65 GT w/225hp 289. Plus you get this all in a modern car that handles great (50/50 weight distribution), stops good, gets great gas mileage, 6 speed Auto or Manual and will probably turn 13's stock (which the original couldn't come close to doing!! Going fast is cool...but there will always be someone faster!! I think the V6 has the whole package...it may be the deal of the century!!

What differences will there be between the 2011 V6 and GT in terms of suspension and chassis components/set-up?

I think the V6 is getting everything from the 2010 GT.
