Oh and another thing. I really wish ford would stop with the fogs in the grill. I never liked it on the 05-09 cars and like it even less on the 2010's. The 2010 pony package has it right. the fogs need to go to the corners of the bumper and leave the grill nice and clean

//Rant off

Well, that's one opinion. I, on the other hand, rather like the the look of the 06-09 Pony Pkg grill with the smaller fog lights reminiscent of the 65-68 GT grill/lights. In fact, I like it so much that I swapped my big ugly GT grill/lights for an 06 Pony Pkg grill from a friend's V6 (he has my GT setup in his car now).

I haven't weighed the seats in my '08 yet, but if it is anything like my '01 Bullitt, they could save at least 20 lbs per side by using manual instead of power seats. I weighed the seats on my Bullitt, and the power driver seat weighed 60 lbs and the manual passenger seat weighed 40 lbs. I think they should offer power seats, but have manual seats as an option for those of us interested in saving weight and money. There shouldn't be any development costs since manual seat bases are used in the V6 already.

It's always interesting how opinions can vary so widely. I think the GT fog lights in the grill are one of the best and most distinctive features of the '05-09's and I think the ones on the '10 look even better. I would be very disappointed if they were (re)moved.

Yeah, I've always thought the "fogs" in the grill looked good, although they might could stand to be a little smaller.

Here's another 2011 find: new color, Yellow Blaze, is paint code NQ. I found this for the 2011 GT....

CI = GRABBER BLUE
HP = PERFOR WHITE CC
L6 = KONA BLUE
NQ = YELLOW BLAZE
PQ = RACE RED
UA = BLACK CC
UJ = STERLING GRAY
UX = INGOT SILVER
U6 = RED CANDY

More stuff on the 2011's. This time for the GT500 Coupe stripe possibities. Two-tone stripes and I'm guessing that 85W is perforated for the glass roof option, but that's just my guess....

85B = GRABBER BLUE STRIPE
85R = COLORADO RED STRIPE
85W = WHITE STRIPE PERF (perforated for glass roof perhaps?)
85X = BLACK STRIPE
85Z = RACE RED/INGOT SILVER STRIPE
851 = RACE RED/BLACK STRIPE
852 = WHITE STRIPE
857 = SILVER STRIPE

Too cool! Thanks for the info.

Wait - two different reds and two-tone? This should be interesting to see.

In recent years, there's always been 2 kinds of every color (redfire/torch red). Personally? I don't think 2-tone is gonna happen; it's too expensive.

Yeah but these are stripe colors - Colorado and Race Red, not paint colors - Candy and Race Red. Two-tone refers to stripe colors listed: "RACE RED/INGOT SILVER STRIPE" and "RACE RED/BLACK STRIPE".

Interesting on the colors, I didn't expect a yellow to be available again.

I think the WHITE PERF stripe might be a different style for the Perf. package (although stories claim it removes a stripe of some type). Hopefully someone gets the full scoop soon so the speculation can be put to rest.

yup that weight is about right. I hope there are a lot less restrictions on the track pack this time around.

And thanks Brian for all the info!

Thanks for the info on the colours, Brian.

Is that the full list? If so, slightly dissappointed there isn't an emerald green or grabber orange, too.

Looking forward to Ingot Silver though

So does this mean you can only get WHITE stripes with your glass roof GT500?

RACE RED/INGOT SILVER STRIPE and RACE RED/BLACK STRIPE = another Red Stripe Appearance package?

That's what I imagine. I would guess a SuperSnake like stripe with the big solid stripe being Race Red and the outer pintstripes being silver/black. Also could the "perf" on the white stripes just be referencing Performance White??

Edit nvm, just saw the "white stripe" at the bottom of the list...hmmmm
