Found something new in the 2011 Mustang GT order banks today. The 5.0L V8 is now shown and it is engine code "F"....

99F = 5.0L 4V TI-VCT

Also, when entering an automatic transmission, the only gear ratio allowed is the 3.15 limited slip, option code 45Y.

 

Also, the Brembo Brake Pkg is only available with a new 19x9" Premium Painted wheel (option code 64N), plus you can only get it with a manual transmission. Also, you do not get a spare wheel/tire with this package. Can't order the California Special with the Brembos! At least not as the order banks are configured now.

I'm interested in the tire combos that will come with this wheel. If they run a 275 width that could make for a pretty low profile. Wonder what the track pack will come with.

I'm hoping that the Track Pack comes with Brembos for 2011, which seems like a no-brainer. Also, I want to see the wheel options, since I liked the 19" 5-spoke ones that the TP came with. Glad to see the things are trickling out, the order guide sounds like a lot of anticipation right now to keep playing with and finding new things.

 

Fo sho. We suspected it might be a Ti-VCT engine for some time now, it appears to be confirmed now.

 

Hmmm, the 5.0L, featuring Ti-VCT? Didn't someone already mention that... long ago?
