2011 Mustang Price List NOW AVAILABLE!!!

Jeesh.. i remember when I bought my '98 GT premium pretty loaded with leather and the MSRP was 22695.00. The new cars are light years ahead and I know its been 12-13 years but we're looking at close to double the money these days!

Hey everyone, I'm leaving work now. I won't be near a computer for at least a day and dealerships are closed on Sundays in Pennsylvania. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to send me PMs. I'll answer them all on Monday morning when I'm back at work. Glad to help everyone out with the price list.

I agree that if it were around $1k-1500 it would be more worth it. I just hate the pixelated display of the standard radio (and screen that is susceptible to scratching). I loved playing around with all the features, hard drive etc when I tried out the Elec Pack at the dealer. I'm an electronics junky though, so it's a must for me.

Trust me save your money for other things. Even with the new GUI* in 2011 it's still going to look dated in a few years. At some point the aftermarket will have a new center stack that will allow for third party units with new features.

FYI the Mustang will not have the dual screen option.

One option is to do a lease through a 3rd party. I leased my 2010 GT through US Bank and it wound up being about $150 per month cheaper than buying it. Also thats based upon $0 out of pocket. It's 15k/year but it's for 3 years. If you like to lease it can be done just not through FoMoCo like before.

I'm taking that into consideration as well. My plan with my 08 was to lease for 2 years, save more money, then buy it. Payment was too high to just buy it with a 5 year loan. I've been laid off since April, so when the lease is up in March, chances are i'm losing it. So i'll be looking into all the loan/lease options when I start working again.

I understand the concept of more bang for your buck, but I personally feel that Ford is in danger of pricing the Mustang out of the target market's range. The everyman's muscle car is slowly going the way of the priveleged. Seeing these numbers makes my wallet happier to have purchased my '10. Invoice-holdback-rebates=

It makes me sad seeing a Mustang GT is 400 dollars away from being a $30k car in "stripper" form
Can't argue the performance, but you can buy a BMW 128i 'Vert for 100 dollars less. The 135i is 35,000 base price, and you get a Twin Turbo straight 6 that is just as fast.

Besides, the whole car will be dated in a few years, thats just how things are

If you start bring up BMWs and the like, you should compare those to the V6 because the V6 should keep up with (might beat) the competitors you are probably thinking of for $7k less than the GT.

Such as?? I can't think of a car with all the goodies and 400hp for anywhere close in price (besides the Camaro and Chally, naturally).

I think Ford has done a good job of keeping up with the performance and options everyone demands, while keeping the costs reasonable.
Sure people can say I paid $xxxxx for a Mustang GT in 19XX. Yeah, you paid that much for a 225hp V8, not for 412hp w/ 6 speed tranny, SYNC, glass roof etc.
If anyone can name a better car for the same price then go ahead, I can't. Especially when you can get a 305hp V6 for $22K

There's little doubt that $35 - $40K is an awful lot of money to put down on something that basically does the same (ie, gets you from here to there) as a $15K car will do. But you're also getting a whole lot of car for the money and it is hard to find similar offerings without adding in another $10K.
It's just a question of how much do you want, why you want it, and can you afford it.
ME? ... I want a convertible I can fit in and still carry golf clubs in the trunk and there is no way in H#$$ that I will buy a sebring!
