yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup. Tho I can't imagine it to be true...the body is 97% the same... the engine is only 10lbs heavier. Grossly over estimated- just as the v6 was.

It was like that on the V6 announcement too. It looks like just generic numbers.

But yeah like everyone else is saying I think those are just general numbers on the weight until everything is finalized. Of course the camaro boys will love pointing it out though lol

Exactly. Where would the 2011 model have gained 300 pounds? The 5.0L weighs the same as the outgoing 4.6L 3V and the rest of the structure is carried over from 2010.

My guess is 3700 for a well equipped manual. 3625 for a stripper.

Well it's interesting that they list the automatic equipped coupe and vert as the same weight. They could have added bracing and stiffening components to both models...but either way they shouldn't weigh the same.

Could pickup 75 lbs in the trans alone. 3650 was light because it is a weak POS.

Recommended if you want its advertised output of 412 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque.

15 days til Detroit. Can't wait to see the new wheels as well as the CS.

Glad I'm waiting to get one of the best Mustangs in history.
