2011 5.0 "cammed " idle...w/video
Here's another vid showing the backfire I now have
I couldn't upload the other vid because apparently it's "file size larger than supported". I'll shoot another one later this week.

I dont hear a backfire in the whole video. Some fuel popping on the way down, thats just fuel in the exhaust.
Some newer Audi's have a fuel squirter in the exhaust to make this exact sound (not that loud though, but your exhaust has a lot to do with that)

Sounds good to me, a bit of popping like Shaun said, but an actual backfire is a lot louder than that. You'd get the same fuel popping sounds if you were to put in actual bigger cams too.
Oh ok, good deal. Just wasn't there before the tune, was a little concerned. Im good now. Thanks.

Pretty sure the only people that are having any issues with the tunes are ones with Autos, it affects the driveability at low rpms. A lot of people have been happy with their tune so far though.

the other thing is cars with real big cams have low rpm driveablility concerns, so its not like the tune is causing problems that dont already exist in the big cam world
ill end up getting bama's when they release it and just have it to play with, reminds me, i need to get off this 91 octane tune.. we have 93 in louisiana... lol... why did i ask for 91 in the first place...
Basically, f*cking deal with it. If you want lopey cams, you have to deal with the downsides of lopey cams, which are low RPM drivability issues. Everybody with actual lopey cams will tell you the same thing, that drivability is **** at low RPMs with them.
Some of you all amaze me, asking for a specific feature, then complaining about that specific feature!
At least with real cams you gain power. The lopey cam idle tune in the auto seemed to lose power even though they say it does not. I have the Lund Aggressive tune and it is way more powerful than his idle lope tune. So i guess if you are just looking for the sound and do not care about the drivability and power this tune is for you. I had a big block 402 with a big cam and it never drove as ****ty as this did.
I have a M6 with 3.73's. The lope only kicks in below 1200 rpms, and under 15mph or so. That's basically crawling in traffic. It's pretty significant. I don't DD my car, so I'm never in daytime traffic. I also work nights so when I take my car to work, there are no other cars.
The only time I crawl through the gears with my stang is in the parking complex at work where I obey the 10mph signs. I hate people who speed through parking lots. So the car is very responsive to throttle position, no more lag at all...that said, little twitches in my feet on the pedal that didnt do anything before cause the car to buck hard now when crawling. I was told this isn't a daily driven tune. I can always load the 93 race tune without the cams sound if I wanted. Like I said, it isnt a problem for me. If you DD your car, and you spend more than 10min in traffic, maybe this isnt for you. I wouldn't use it in heavy traffic.
^this.
I am trying to load my car on a dyno this week to get those numbers.
Nope, I got a M6 with 3.73's. My car also has a mind of her own.

Low RPM bucking with an automatic isn't a fault of the tune; it is the tune. When the engine is loping due to either overlapping cams or cams that are forced to overlap, as is with the tune, power delivery will be very choppy.
