everyone keeps forgetting all the options he ordered. I ordered a GT premium with the auto tranny and security pack and it was OUT THE DOOR 31,xxx. By no means is the premium bare bones so everything else that made it 38kish was all extra stuff imo you dont need. Almost every car out there can be optioned out to some stupid price.

 

True... however, the only ridiculously priced option, IMO, is the Electronics Package, but the main reason I ordered it was to keep the wife happy.... it was the only way to get automatic climate control for the passenger...

I'd recommend that if u do order it, go to the dealerships fleet manager. I work for a dealership, and I know they won't screw you for their commision. Sorry this is sloppy, I'm on my phone. Take care,

 

I hope Ford keeps working on keeping the base price low and like back in 65, I like the option list long so each can basically be customized to our liking. Mustang needs to be an affordable sports car for many years to come.

 

Hey bud, just a little word of advise, think before you speak!!! I work at a dealership and I won't "screw you for the commission". You get D-Plan, and its all cut and dry for you (and anyone else who gets a Plan deal). If you think your sales co-workers are going to screw you for more $$$ so much so, that you need to go to the fleet manager, you need to find a better place to work for. Not all dealerships are cheats. Threre are plenty of good ones out there. Just an FYI!!
