What a joke. If NASCAR was smart they'd go back to using the actual cars. Having some Mustang stickers on the car doesn't make it better then the current Fusion.

NASCAR isn't a joke, why do you say that? Please don't give me some lame excuse like, "they just drive around in circles all day!". They can't use real cars anymore because of the safety of the drivers, how about funny cars use real cars since that's the only way it would ever be exciting right?!?!?!

I wouldn't call NASCAR a "joke," but it would be nice to have Fuel Injection, Air Jacks, Fueling Rigs, non-spec body panels, shorter races, less "cookie cutter" tracks, and 1-2 more road course races. And Funny Cars have always been just that . . . funny, as oppsed to "stock" car racing.

I agree 100%! I feel like I am watching kit cars. Thats why I love rally car racing.

 

No, it may not look exactly like a stang, but this is a HUGE STEP in the right direction for NASCAR. I am hoping that things like this will keep coming and make the sport better.

I might just have to attend the Nationwide race instead of just the cup race.

And just in case you couldn't tell what car it is...because it bears absolutely no resemblance to the real car, they have put the name in big letter across the front on the **** thing. Thank you.

 

Yes it has become a joke. I'm sure they could add the proper safe equipment to a STOCK car. There seems to be plenty of racing series using real Mustangs. Not sure what makes NASCAR so different they can't do it.

 

All those left turns are really hard on a real car.
