The V6 Mustang has a running horse in the grill. So I'm not sure why that would make you think it was a GT.

There was only a single exhaust and I can't see any fogs. Definitely points more to V6 than GT. And if they really are carrying engines over. That 4.0 V6 has a pretty nice rumble to it.

I was mistaken - never caught the single tailpipe

I never considered they would bring a V-6, so when I saw the running horse I ASSumed it was a GT and not a Shelby.

To be honest I was shocked that it was probably a V6 as well. In the excitement of being there next to it and expecting either a Shelby or GT, I may have come to the same conclusion as you.

I'm just bitter because I am terrible at geography and didn't realize until it was too late, that I was visiting a friend who lives minutes from the race track.
