Good point. I hadn't thought about the relationship, but it is well known that one of the 'issues' with the Ecoboost engines in a lot of applications has been hood clearance.

I think I just wet myself a little.

If that is a regular model hood and not a GT500 hood, I need to start counting my pennies.

You can see from the angles on the leading edge that the headlights are a bit more swept back than the 05-09.

I'm still thinking that could be the GT500 hood, and that the cowl is to allow room for the SC, although the current hood has always been noted as being too boring and plain so maybe not???? Perhaps the 5.0 is just a taller engine?

Also, anyone who may work in the business, is there a way to tell if it is aluminum or not when it is bare?

Holy cowl batman, that's a sharp hood!! So far the hood and the prancing pony are awesome - if these pieces are any indication, the '10 should be one hot ride.

I'd be REAL CURIOUS, if this is able to fit the 2005-2009 models. I may be reaching a tad, but if the fenders are in the same location, only different from the outside, and the hood is the same size, and the curvature is the same, then maybe, just maybe, it may just fit out cars. If that could be the case, can anyone say TAKE-OFF PART!!!
