Haven't posted in a while. This forum has been relatively quiet compared to how it use to be.

My latest mod is having the roof wrapped in gloss black. Still a lot more I want to do but he is finally paid off.

I think something is a little wonky with my rear as one side sticks out more than the other yet I am not lowered. I don't know how much lowering I can do with my current setup since it already looks stuffed in there.

Car looks great kilaz!

I've had mine out for the last few weeks on and off. It's still been snowing here and there. Also got all my brake upgrade parts ready to go for another track season!

so jealous of those brakes man! Looks awesome.

as to the comments about the forum being quiet, a lot of it has to do with the season. I still can’t even drive her, still crappy weather here in Iowa. Ugh.

Hey all, it's been awhile since I've posted or been around but life has been super busy. I don't really have any new pics to post at the moment but I've been trying to figure out what new shoes I want to get for my pony. She's SGM and i'm torn between black wheels, charcoal, something with some silver in it. I'm definitely leaning toward a standard set-up with 19" wheels but just can't decide. Anyone have any good pics or opinions on what they like? Right now she's rockin the Performance Package grey wheels. Thanks for the input and lookin through so many missed posts, i'm digging everyone's rides and makes me excited to start modding again. (Probably doin a new grille and wheels at a minimum...)

Really really really bad iphone pic of a very very very dirty lady. Marilyn came out of hiding yesterday and today - as the weather broke. Drove her to work yesterday and today. I didn't care how dirty she was because I am TWO MONTHS late from driving her. Stupid Iowa weather.

Getting halos redone too - will be a halo switchback (amber) as well.

Will post better pics once she's cleaned up, oil changed, and a camera better than my iPhone.

Crazy thing is - looking at her almost 7 years later - she still looks as good and $exy to me as she did on the day I got her. I love our body style. To think I thought (for a fleeting moment) that I should sell her, maybe?

And yes,....our body style is the best. The S550 are nice, but it doesn't grab me like the S197 cars.

Awesome Burton! It sure feels great to feel the power and row through the gears! It's been a long winter indeed!

Thanks Tony!!! Something about our S197's, beastly from the front/frontside. Love that angle.

She's dirty from the THICK THICK THICK DUST! All accumulated from sitting atop her hammock for 5 months!

Hey Gary! You bet... thank you. It really did feel good to drive her again. Always surreal for the first few drives. I forgot how good she felt, drove, sounded, and threw me back in my seat.

I still have 5 month old fuel in there, even if used Stabil. I have to drive easy until she's empty, then fill her up with good, safe Premium Octane, and let her rip.

I say these or the 5-Spoke versions, which I'm running 20x10/11.

What matters most is you finally got Marilyn out, Burton, you'll have plenty of time to get her all cleaned up

That looks nasty brahhh!!!
I actually got a quote from them about a year ago when I full on ready to mod the heck out of the Roush. (was going to start from the ground up, hence the wheels/tires, brakes, suspension going on first.)
Killer looking wheels and they look great on both the S197's and the S550 cars.

Alright - some updated pics, finally. I got Marilyn fully detailed and she's wearing CG V7 spray sealant on top of DG Aqua Wax. Felt good to drive her and flex her muscles...

First pic is by my house - they're building another one right next to me. Ugh.

Next few - I found a great green wall downtown. Who knew blue/green would pop!!! Turned out great I thought.

Then some love to our forum -

Found an empty semi-alleyway.

The next few pics, I wanted to have Marilyn pose by her soon-to-be-sister... those of you following my other thread know she has a "sister" joining her stable soon.

That Firecracker Red really POPS!!!

(The Wrangler pictured is a JK though... the JL's are to the left and right)
