And here is some video. It catches up to me half way through sounding awesome, and somewhere before a Mazdaspeed3 goes off into the grass too. I love track days

Thanks! And yes, there is always someone faster than you on the track. That's why I leave my pride with my stuff by the curb (for the most part)
But there is always that sinking feeling in your stomach when that happens. You're thinking ... "yeah, I'm doing pretty good!" ... And then a Corvette or a Porsche blows you out of the water, and you're like

Haha, all just part of grid life.

I just saw a white C7 15 minutes ago when my work friend and I sunk out of work for some Dunkin Donuts and coffee! Made me think about this thread.

"Cool story bro..."

Just consider the source of the comment, Tommy. Then you'll feel all the better to just ignore.

Agreed. Porsche in particular makes a beautiful pearl like white, with the metalic reflection in the paint. The 911 GT3 wears it really well, and now I can say the GT4 does as well.
Yeah,.....it's a killer car. It looks great in that white too.
I would love to own a Porsche GT3 someday,...but that'll never happen. lol

As for the CTS-V,.......I'd take the white as well.

No thanks.
I'll end up joining car forums and posting useless crap on every thread, not contributing to the forum at all.
Maybe even color my hair in all kinds of weird colors and change my avatar daily, always having pictures of my attention-wanting self in it.
Definitely don't want that ...

I sort of have to agree here. The only whites that I really like are something with a metallic or pearl to it. Outside of that they remind me of all the trucks and vans at work and are just very boring to me. They tend to hide lines and sort of take the aggressiveness out of things for me.

This right here was my favorite

I don't care what color it is; the Cayman GT4 is a fan-freaking-tastic track car and I'd love to have one.

On the plus side, white hides light dust, spider webs, even light scratches. Compared to black cars,(which I had prior) up keep is a breeze.

Yeah, had a black vehicle once, never dealing with that nightmare again.
Had a white '95 SHO ... fun car, rare in white, looked awesome with the tinted windows, lowered, and the 5-spoke 17" wheels I had on it.

LOL... I miss having another black car. Quincy is black, but my next toy car will be black, hopefully. Nothing shows true detailing work like a black vehicle.

On another note, here was Zena, my white Z (hence the username). It was ok... I obviously always kept her clean and detailed, but the work I put into her never truly showed. Whether it was dusty or clean, it looked mostly the same. There was no depth in the color.
