Your car is looking pretty worn out now, how many miles?
you know that 'drive it into the ground' is just a figure of speech right?
honestly it looks like showroom condition. I know the giddy feeling of getting out for a rip after being away from it.

Thanks Darren. Yeah, it felt awesome. Almost 3 months since I last drove it. I think we're going to have an early Spring, so that's good.
Enjoy your Mustang Darren. That is one of my favorites on this site bro.

I told him I have a new truck, so I can't do anything yet. Just wanted some inside info. Enjoy your Mustang Darren. That is one of my favorites on this site bro.
Nice Tony! Yours is cleaner than mine!!!
I finally did the unthinkable today! Better late than never. But someone came out of hiding yesterday. It was 60 degrees and sunny (mostly). Roads were semi-drivable. So I started her up and drove her up and down the street only. She fired up right away after a ~5 month hiatus. Hearing her crank, her idle, her revs, was surreal. I didn't realize how much I missed her. What's sad though is, amazing after 5 months of not driving her, you forget how stiff the clutch is, how short the MGW shifts are, and you have to get used to the timing again. A big contributor to that is the fact that I have been driving my POS 1993 Prizm with a clutch as soft as a marshmallow and a shifter that's as wobbly and long as on old man's walking crane.
Regardless, my point is, I missed Marilyn... a lot. And it was fantastic driving her yesterday (albeit dirty) for 5-10 minutes. Here's the awful phone pics to prove it.

I'm getting prepared for a 3 day nook and cranny session starting today with a wash, clay, and swirl removal. Tomorrow/Wed will see polish, wax and the rest. Should hit 50+ by noon today and maybe in the 70's the next few.
I've already scheduled my chiropractor for Friday.
Boy...if you guys only saw how dirty mine is after sitting outside at the dealer, only to be returned to me with "no problem found/could not duplicate the issue" regarding engine tick, clunky shifting, and passenger door panel rattle. I put the MGW on this weekend, I'll post a review about it later. I'm detailing the car tonight at my friend's shop.
I was thinking the same thing today. It's like one of those nature programs that shows time lapsed photography of grass sprouting up, flowers blooming and cute little critters poking their heads out of burrows.
Compared to the way I've seen some people neglect their cars, even at shows, your "dirty" Mustang would still shine like a diamond.

You and me both bro! Felt awesome. It's been like 3 months for me.

She looks great Burton. If that is dirty, I don't know what is clean. She looks killer bro!
but yes, you're right... I love that Corolla. Although I might swap for 19 year old CRV!!!

Yep, mine did too (doesn't help that there has been a ton of construction in my neighborhood)... And we still have our outdoor water turned off for at least another month (just in case), so no bath for my car until then!
