Honestly, it's so **** FUNNY how many COMMENTS or genuine QUESTIONS I get, at a gas station, or in other less than reputable places regarding the GT 420 rocker stripe.....
Truth is, this PONY is no Shelby and therefore is simply not qualified to wear the GT300 or GT350 badge.
AT LEAST the GT420 refers to her ACTUAL HORSEPOWER.
The rocker combined with the Silverhorse Racing quarter windows creates a lot of questions at the fillin station....
RWSRWS
Nevertheless, its a great conversation starter

As far as the ACTUAL HORSEPOWER of the GT, have you not heard the Coyote is under-rated?
Uh-oh ... looks like you might need a new decal. GT430. Maybe GT435?
Lol ...
Heading towards monster territory possibly next couple years (turbo plans)...
I do run regularly at the strip. Per NHRA any open top car faster than 13.50 needs a 6 pt cage & SFI harnesses. I'm just actually getting fully up to speed, they let me slide a bit last season with a 4 point only running bottom 13's/ high 12's (Denver altitude). They did warn me though to come back prepared if I wanted to go any faster.....sad part is all this stuff is only good down till 11.50 in an open car. I haven't fully checked, but it is entirely possible the cage you need to run quicker than 11.50 open top might require starting over completely cage wise, LOL!! At that point I might get a coupe and swap parts over, not sure yet. I love the 'vert though so will keep it one way or the other

Thats what i meant. At the end of the day its much nicer than the AM version. Thanks for telling me. I know what i want now.
I have a friend who has a CAI and Lund tune, long tube headers, and cat delete who runs low 12's on street tires. He should break into the 11's with drag radials or slicks this spring. Local track is already doing Saturday test and tune events.

I came across the Forgestars on another forum and the boss said they were too good of a deal to pass up. I'll run them for a bit, but I may need to go a lot wider here pretty soon...
