Forgot all about this pic from the Nj trip in Oct....random mall parking lot shot next to a "distant cousin"....for the car at least...lol. The weather was perfect for topless rides as well that week.

BMR UCA and mount.
The beefiest upper control arm I've ever seen, never mind held in my hands.

Can't wait to install these things !!

Well, if nothing else, it is seasonally appropriate I don't check this thread as often as I should but when I do, I enjoy seeing all the updates!

Sick car man. Unless you have a tune for 94 octane.... that 94 fuel youre getting from Petro is not the one. 91 v power is the way to go. Its pure gasoline and will actually make you more power. No ethanol and none of tactrol crap.

How is your water up there? How do you keep it from spotting after a wash?

My water sucks here. If I'm only doing a wash, I just do a section at a time and blow dry it immediately before the next section. But I still get a small amount of residual spotting and Meguiars Quick Detail spray does a good job of removing them. If I plan on doing a wax (or more), I don't worry about water spots. My buffer takes care of that.

Thanks Tom. I'm currently on well water which spots pretty badly. I try not to wash the car when it's windy or super sunny because then it dries too fast. i usually use a large drying towel first then i go over it with a couple of mf cloths to remove streaks. every 1/2 dozen washes i use the quick detailer on it afterwards too. having a cloth top actually helps keep the wash time to a minimum. i only wash the top every 5th or 6th time too. definitely not every time.

One method I use that helps quite a bit is distilled water. I use a sprinkler can and about 3 gallons then dry with a blower. I get the water from Walmart cheap.

A big plus for convertibles. Also, it makes cleaning the interior a snap.

My top is down most of the driving season, so keeping it clean is no big deal. This time of year though it stays up.

I vac my top, then use spray foam carpet cleaner and scrub lightly with a soft brush, followed by a damp wipe-down. It stays looking brand new.

Just got finished with a 3 day nook and cranny detailing. So as not to aggravate my back and arthritic knee, I spread out major sessions over a few days, several hours at a time, starting with a wash and wax (and sometimes clay mitt, swirl correction, and polish). The last step is the carpet and mats.

Being retired is the key. There's no way I could keep the Mustang looking as good as it does every day if I was still working. My neighbors think I'm a whacko.

In California, our water was HORRIBLE! I still have a few water spots from only washing the car a couple times! No matter how fast I thought I was, I always ended up with water spots there!

Now that I am in Colorado, the water we have here is MUCH better, but just the same, I bring it into the garage as soon as the soap is washed off so I can dry/polish/wax it...
